Emergency calls and plan signups are won differently
Someone who just found a nest is not reading. They tap the first result with reviews attached and they call. Proximity, reviews, and a fast page decide that one, and your website barely gets a say.
The quarterly plan is the opposite. That is a subscription, and people research subscriptions. A homeowner will sit with two or three companies open and compare what is covered before signing anything. That comparison has to happen somewhere, and the only place you control is your own site.
Worth settling which one you are trying to grow before spending anything, because the answers point in different directions. If it is emergency volume, put the money into reviews and the profile first and we will say so.
Write pages for the work you want more of
Termite inspections, bed bugs, mosquito programs, and wildlife are different searches by different people. One services paragraph does not reach any of them.
The reverse matters as much. Do not build a page for work you would rather refer out, because ranking for it is how the phone fills up with the wrong calls and your techs spend the season on jobs that do not pay.
The plan page most pest control sites skip
Recurring plans are where the money in this trade actually is, and on most sites they get one line on a price list. A homeowner deciding on a year of service has questions that line does not answer, so they go find a company that answered them.
Give the plan its own URL and put the awkward parts in writing. Being the company that states its cancellation terms plainly is an advantage, because most competitors are quietly hoping nobody asks.
- Which pests the plan covers, and which ones are billed separately
- What happens if something comes back between scheduled visits, and how fast you return
- How long the agreement runs, whether it renews on its own, and how someone ends it
- Whether anyone needs to be home, and what to do about pets and kids
What we do, and what we do not
We build the site and can keep adding pages to it monthly. We can clean up the Google Business Profile once for $250. That is the whole list.
We do not run Google Ads, we do not manage social accounts, and we do not sell lead lists. If ads are what you need next, you will need someone else for that part, and it is better to hear it now. If the site you have is the thing holding this back, here is how a rebuild works.
